OPEN TUES-SUN 4PM-TILL LATE ✦
there’s something for everybody at Porter’s
Since opening our doors in 2012, we’ve grown into a buzzing three-storey hangout for live music fans, theatre-goers, art lovers, and anyone who enjoys a night out that’s a bit unusual.
We’re community-led and run on collaboration, believing in a safe, welcoming space where people can be themselves, connect, and create. Our calendar is shaped by the people who use it; from gigs, theatre, and open mics to board games, socials, panel talks, and workshops with industry experts from all creative fields.
Whether you’re here to put on a show, discover something new, or just have a pint and a chat with pals, you’ll find a warm welcome and plenty going on.
Here, everyone is invited. If this sounds good to you, pop in, grab a drink, and make yourself at home... you never know what you might discover!
COMMUNITY-DRIVEN
Porter’s isn’t just for the community, it’s by the community. We’re excited about what we can build here together and, most importantly, by what we can help you to achieve here.
INCLUSIVE & WELCOMING
Porter’s isn’t just for the community, it’s by the community. We’re excited about what we can build here together and, most importantly, by what we can help you to achieve here.
RESPECT & KINDNESS
Good people, good times. We believe in treating people with kindness and respect. We have zero tolerance for discrimination, harassment, bullying or hateful behaviour.
Porter’s exists as a “blank canvas” that provides opportunities for creatives to showcase their original work, and a launch pad for people starting out on their creative journeys. We do this by providing an accessible and malleable space for ideas, events, and opportunities for the community. We believe in the power art has to empower and connect a community, and by supporting artists and audiences, we help keep culture alive, authentic, and accessible to all.
We, along with your other local grassroots venues, are committed to empowering the wider community through live music, theatre, art, culture and connection.
Porter’s is a home for creatives, a place where ideas can grow with the support that they need to thrive.
