If you’re an artist looking to bring ready made work to Porter’s Theatre or you have an idea of a project you’d like to develop, we’d love to chat. Get in contact with us via the submissions portal below or directly on email at theatre@porterscardiff.com. We programme work all year round and are particularly interested in work from Welsh/Wales based makers. Due to the nature of Porter’s being a busy arts venue with multiple performance spaces we ideally need shows to be no longer than 60 minutes, though this isn’t set in stone.

We are a Safe Spaces venue, meaning we will not programme any work that we consider to contain hate speech, including but not limited to - racism, homophobia, transphobia, classism, fatphobia, xenophobia.

We run all theatre events on a box office split, with 70% of ticket sales going to the incoming company/artist and 30% going to the venue. We know that not every project is the same, so are happy to chat further if you face certain financial barriers.

You can find a tech spec for our theatre here. We don’t have an in-house technician but can offer someone to operate your show as long as it’s not too complicated.
